NAM CSSTC Performance Report 2020
The Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) is a venue for the collection of resources and dialogue for realising the shared purpose of NAM member countries.
Despite the pandemic plight of Covid-19, NAM CSSTC continues to function efficiently by 2020 with its nine planned activities. Three physical activities are performed and six are virtually performed.
The above-mentioned activities included nine cumulative activities for 38 countries of which 24 were NAM member countries. Agriculture, education and micro, small and medium-sized enterprises include in the activities. Agriculture is the largest contribution to five activities.
For the period January to March and April to September, NAM CSSTC has produced periodic reports. The October-December 2020 report was released in fiscal year 2021. A performance report presented by NAM CSSTC to the NAM CSSTC Governing Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and head of missions in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was published in addition to period report, as part of NAM CSSTC’s commitments to the openness principle.
In 2020 NAM CSSTC was also involved in numerous networking activities with different country representatives and Indonesian institutions, including diplomatic receptions, courtesy calls, co-operative discussions as well as capturing ideas to NAM CSSTC programmes in 2021.
