NAM CSSTC Director Received a Courtesy Call from
ICC Executive Director
Director Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro received the Executive Director of the International Coconut Community (ICC), Jelfina C. Alouw at the NAM CSSTC Office on Thursday (2/7).
The meeting was expected to start cooperation between NAM CSSTC and ICC.
The Director of the NAM CSSTC stressed the importance of doing activities that will benefit smallholder farmers economically and will increase investments among the NAM member countries.
More precisely, a webinar and training activities on coconut processing into nata de coco, coconut sugar, virgin coconut oil (VCO) and coconut oil were discussed.
In addition to exploring opportunities for cooperation, the two parties also expressed their views on how to resolve the challenges of conducting international activities during the Coronavirus pandemic.
