Exploring Triangular Cooperation with KOICA Indonesia
Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) paid a visit to the office of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Indonesia in Jakarta on Tuesday (8/20). During the visit, Director Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro initiated discussion on capacity-building activities in the framework of triangular cooperation and efforts to replicate past project with KOICA Timor-Leste in health sector. On the occasion of the meeting, he submitted an offer to support implementation of programme activities in 2019 that include “2019 International Energy Conference ASTECHNOVA” and “Training on Processing of Agricultural Products for Tanzania” and Business to Business Meeting.
The ASTECHNOVA Conference aimed to introduce conversion technology of agricultural crops into New and Renewable Energy. Meanwhile, the training in Tanzania aimed at increasing economic cooperation between Indonesia and Africa as the bright continent. In addition, it is also intended to further improve Tanzanian farmers’ standards of living.
The discussion went substantively with Country Director for KOICA Indonesia, Jeong Hoe Jin who was accompanied by several KOICA’s staffs, including Nikka Sasongko, Yulia Hastari and Dian Mardiana.
