Visit to the Centre for Integrated Agribusiness Development
Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) accompanied Fiji Charge D’Affaires, Isaac Grace to visit the Centre for Integrated Agribusiness Development (8/9) located in Purwodadi Village, Pasuruan, East Java. During the visit, SPAT’s Supervisor for Product Quality Control, Fajar Azadiyah, said that six participants from Fiji had underwent training at the Centre around the topics on processing of cassava, corn and cassava. In addition, the Centre also granted Vacuum Frying unit to the Ministry of Agriculture of Fiji in 2014.
Charge-D Grace stated, in order to maintain sustainability of the training, he was currently coordinating with Fijian Ministry regarding the potential to conduct training at the Centre, with topics surrounding on processing of yam and sweet potato into flour, biscuit, nugget, ice cream, bread, stick, bakpia and noodles.
