NAM CSSTC Invites Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries to Become Implementing Agency of “International Workshop on Sustainable Oil Palm” of 2018
The NAM CSSTC invited the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC) to cooperate in presenting delegations of palm oil producing countries to “International Workshop on Sustainable Oil Palm” of 2018. The recommendation was conveyed by NAM CSSTC Executive Secretary, Pinkan Ovanita Tulung, during a meeting to discuss preparation of Workshop, at CPOPC Secretariat, on Wednesday (4/25). A meeting which was led by CPOPC Executive Director accompanied by CPOPC Senior Staff of Communication and Promotion, was attended by NAM CSSTC Executive Secretary and Assistant Director for Programme, on behalf of NAM CSSTC Director.
According to Assistant Director, the programme will be implemented on the fourth week of August in Riau, Indonesia. The collaborative activity is a follow up to a meeting between NAM CSSTC Director and CPOPC Executive Director in August 2017.
As an international event, the Workshop will be attended by delegates from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Uganda and Ghana. The total number of participants is estimated to be 18 participants.
Before the meeting was concluded, Assistant Director promised to immediately consolidate Workshop curriculum with CPOPC Senior Staff.
