NAM CSSTC Present its Statement in the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement in Kampala, Uganda
The Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC), led by its Director, H.E. Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro, attended the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) held in Kampala, Uganda, from 13 to 16 October 2025. The meeting brought together Ministers and high-level representatives from NAM Member States to discuss the Movement’s role in addressing global challenges within the evolving multipolar world order.
During the deliberations, many Member States underlined the importance of strengthening international cooperation, particularly among developing countries, to promote equitable growth and sustainable development.
Representing the Republic of Indonesia, H.E. Ambassador Arrmanatha C. Nasir emphasized that NAM must continue to reinforce its relevance by contributing to the reform of the multilateral system. He highlighted that NAM Centre in Indonesia serves as a concrete platform for advancing South-South cooperation, delivering capacity-building and knowledge-sharing programmes that benefit NAM Member States.
On this occasion, the Director of NAM CSSTC delivered a statement outlining the Centre’s activities, achievements, and challenges in implementing South-South cooperation initiatives. He also invited greater engagement and support from Member States to expand the reach and impact of NAM CSSTC’s programmes. Through its participation, NAM CSSTC strengthened its visibility and networking among NAM Member States, development partners, and international institutions attending the meeting.
NAM CSSTC remains committed to advancing the principles of solidarity, partnership, and mutual benefit that underpin South-South cooperation, and to continuously supporting the objectives of the Non-Aligned Movement in fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
