Continuation of Scholarship Program for NAM Member Countries at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang
Malang, Indonesia – 9 July 2024, The Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) is pleased to announce the continuation of its scholarship program for member countries. This initiative enables students from NAM member nations to pursue a master's degree at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM).
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed at the UMM campus by Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro, Director of NAM CSSTC, and Prof. Latipun, M.Kes, Ph.D., Director of the Postgraduate Directorate at UMM. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Vice Rector IV, Muhammad Salis Yuniardi, M.Psi., Ph.D.
Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro expressed his hope that the scholarship program will have a positive impact on students upon their return to their home countries. He emphasized the program's role in fostering human resource development in developing nations.
The NAM CSSTC scholarship program is a testament to the organization's dedication to South-South cooperation, aiming to strengthen solidarity and mutual support among developing countries. Through such initiatives, NAM CSSTC continues to play a pivotal role in addressing global challenges and promoting sustainable development.
