As an important step toward bolstering agro-industrial development among Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states, the Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) and the Center for Standardization and Agro-Industry Services (BBSPJIA) convened an exploratory hearing on 15th May 2024. This meeting, held in Bogor, aimed to assess the viability of cooperative initiatives to enhance agricultural services and standards throughout member states.
The meeting primarily focused on evaluating of how BBSPJIA can contribute for international-level training and the possibility of establishing a framework for cooperation with NAM CSSTC. This visit is expected to streamline collaborative efforts in improving agricultural practices, product quality, and market access for farmers for NAM member states.
During the visit, the Director of NAM CSSTC, H.E. Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro, seeks information regarding previous activities, target participants, and duration of training conducted by BBSPJIA. This visit is expected to build a positive partnership between NAM CSSTC and BBSPJIA, particularly those with developing agricultural sectors.
