Diplomacy Through Education, NAM CSSTC Officiates Partnership with LSPR
Jakarta, December 14, 2023 - As a continuation and finalization of previous cooperative talks, a company visit was held by LSPR Communication & Business Institute to the NAM CSSTC headquarters in Jakarta. Five faculty staff members and eight International Relations Communications students attended the visit, among them were Mikhael Yulius Cobis, M.Si., M.M., as the Dean of Faculty of Communications, and Dr. Sri Ulya Suskarwati, S.E., M.Si., as the Head of Communications Study Program.
During this visit, NAM CSSTC Director, Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro presented its background as a pivotal actor in global South-South cooperation, which received plenty of positive remarks by the LSPR representatives.
The main agenda of the visit, however, was the officiation and signing of the Implementation Agreement (IA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NAM CSSTC and LSPR. The agreement advocates for a substantial partnership between NAM CSSTC and LSPR, especially on a potential continuous internship program collaboration for future LSPR students. The forthcoming program is hoped to involve students in the programs of NAM CSSTC and to understand the interdisciplinary nature of diplomacy through international relations and communications in a more down-to-earth and tangible setting.
Through this, NAM CSSTC presents its role not only in international development, but provides affirmative opportunities for future cooperation in the education sector. (Chrystle Feodore Manlee).
